Little Google App Bug

Sunday, March 29, 2009 at 1:58 AM

It says on the right hand side that the max users I can have for this domain is 3, but on the left hand side it tells me I've reached the 2 user limit for this domain.

I only paid for 2 users, so the left hand is right.

Also, it's too bad we can't have premium and non-premium users in the same domain.

2) Click on the Notes link

4) Type in the name of your blog, check the checkbox and click the "Start Importing" button

5) Scroll to the bottom of the page

6) Click the button at the bottom of the page called "Confirm Import"

I keep multiple blogs, so I was disheartened to learn Facebook doesn't allow you to import more then one blog to your profile.

Practical Problems with .ME Domains

at 3:52 PM
The website for this blog is Both the blog -the subdomain- and jane -the domain- I chose. You can also choose from a number of Top Level Domain (TLD) to host your domain. Just having a .com is the way of the past. Here comes the new .me.

The problem with adopting a new Top Level Domain (TLD) as a permanent email address is that not everyone is aware of the new TLD. My guess it will take some complaints to change the web code to allow it as a valid email address.

This one is from Amazon:

It must be a default error message. The same message also appeared when I typed "valid@email.asdasdfasdfasdf."

Practical Problems with Plus Addressing

at 3:31 PM
Plus addressing allows you to make aliases with your email account. happens to support plus addressing. If I wanted to sign up for a Gander Mountain newsletter, I might tell them my email address is and the email will still come to me (at Everything after the plus is ignored and comes to my mailbox, but I can filter emails based on the address I gave Gander Mountain. I can also see who is selling my information too.

Read more on plus addressing here.

The problems with plus address in the practical work are numerous.

They are great for sorting incoming mail and seeing who is selling your information (based on who it was sent to).

Those taking myself off a mailing list seems to pose problems when websites start filtering for the plus-sign.

It looks like the form filtered out the plus so it submitted the address " for removal.

Now how am I supposed to get off of people's email lists?
